Bali is known for its large population of stray dogs, and while many shelters and clinics strive to aid these animals and save as many as possible, they often become overwhelmed. Therefore, it is important for individuals to also take action and not ignore wounded animals on the streets, if they are able to help them.
This is exactly what Aaron, a kind Samaritan, did when he saw a wounded, sad and lonely dog on the side of the road. Instead of just driving by, Aaron showed kindness and compassion and thanks to his actions, the dog named Homer now gets to live a full and happy life in his new forever home. Homer learned to trust and love again, beat cancer, and is now a fluffy and joyful pup.
