Introducing Maggie, a friendly dog with an incredible will to survive! Maggie was found in Lebanon with 17 bullet wounds, her eyes shot out, her ear severed, and her jaw broken. When the 5-year-old dog was discovered abandoned and tied to a box, she was also pregnant. Last year, Maggie was rescued by the Wild at Heart Foundation, an animal charity. After hearing Maggie’s horrific story, Kasey from Brighton decided to give the abandoned and injured dog a better life.
However, there was a significant obstacle to overcome – ensuring Maggie’s safe arrival from Lebanon to the United Kingdom. Fortunately, an online campaign enlisted the help of millions of people worldwide, ultimately leading to Maggie settling into her new home and starting a family in Sussex, UK. Maggie, also known as the “Wonder Dog” on the internet, has amassed a following of 500,000 on Instagram and has made a career out of visiting hospitals, care homes, and universities on a mission to spread a positive message.
Maggie is not an ordinary dog, as she has been officially authorized as a therapy dog after undergoing numerous tests and examinations. Casey, her owner, took to Instagram to celebrate the news of Maggie passing her exams with flying colors. Underdog International has authorized Maggie as a therapy dog. Maggie’s commitment to spreading love and positivity is heartwarming, especially considering the inhumane torture she has survived. She continues to bring joy to the lives of many people, and we humans have a lot to learn from animals like Maggie.
May she experience a loved and happy life, but unfortunately, God had other plans for this girl. However, it seems like she is on her way to fulfilling that plan! We are grateful that she was saved and is now being loved. Maggie is a sweet and brave dog who has found a wonderful forever home. To learn more about Maggie, check out her Instagram page. They also contribute to high self-esteem and positive emotions, especially for children. However, sometimes coexistence between humans and animals is not successful, and in some cases, adoption is their last resort. Various reasons why animals are abandoned on the street include lack of time to give them adequate attention, economic hardship, unwanted litters, parenting issues, new family members, or losing their homes.
